As I’m writing my shout out this week I’ve one eye on the 71st Emmy Awards red (I mean purple) carpet in LA! Theres nothing better than awards ceremony to pick out looks you think might suit for your next upcoming party or function! Let’s face it, Christmas & New Years party season is looming, and I just did a count of week’s left and its a shocking 13 weeks!!!
I was really interested to see how the stars shone in their outfits this year- would they be old school formal, or would there be a more casual approach to the awards, like we are seeing all over society these days when it comes to dressing. Here’s a few of my fav looks on Mandy Moore, Lena Heady, Halsey & Annie Murphy. It was great to see that glamour was on the menu!
All of that said, I still love to frock up for an occasion! The only times I really get to is for a wedding, The ARIA’s or a special date night, which is probably 3 times a year :) but even then I’m still careful to not overdo the invite dress-code.
