With Fashion Week in full swing in Sydney, traditional & social media is in overdrive to report back what will be hanging in your wardrobe (at least the designers hope!) in the coming season!
Of course the biggest part of any fashion week globally is what the cool crew of attendee’s are wearing. The style set’s street style overruns our socials & ushers in new ideas of how to put together an outfit that we all agree is great and one to replicate in our own manifestation.
So how do we all classify what’s hot in an outfit ensemble and what’s not?
Why do certain pieces make us swoon & immediately want to shop them when we see them paired together?
Is it the nostalgia of fashion days gone by, brought back with a modern touch so we can go there again?
Is it the look of stylish comfort that is a drawcard?
Is it the incredible insight by a designer or stylish human for creating a complete ‘look’ that feels so fresh and original that it takes us down the fashion rabbit hole?
Whatever it is that resonates with us I put it down to our fashion instinct. We all (well most of us!) have an intrinsic sense of whether an outfit is out of whack because it makes you feel out of sorts, uncomfortable and unconfident. Yes that is the power of fashion, the right look gives you an attitude to take on the world but the wrong look just brings you down, and that is where we can help!!
