What’s new lovely people?
I have to admit this week I’ve been so envious of people in France enjoying everything from the Olympic Games, to Parisian culture, the food and fashion :( I am now hoping to make the trip to my fav city in 2025, watch this space…
There has been much talk and interest in sports from the basketball to the triathlon, but what grabbed my eye from the very start was the opening ceremony and the fanciful French flare which was on full display. It was so colourful, playful and there was never a dull moment. I especially loved the involvement of the young French fashion designers which recognized France and Paris as the home of fashion and Haute Couture. To me the French had managed to capture the essence of French life itself in the ceremony, and set the scene for what is an incredible Olympic Games so far.
