I have to admit I’m a little weary today! But also excited :)
I’m weary as I was lucky enough to attend the 2024 APRA Music Awards last night in Sydney with Simon and it was so much fun! The event was hosted by celebrity comedian Tom Gleeson of ‘Hard Quiz’ fame, & Julian Hamilton from iconic Aussie electronic group The Presets curated the performances for the evening.
Its also a big day in the Moor household- today is my youngest son Jed’s 17th Birthday. Jed is an awesome young man with a big future ahead of him & I just love him! I might have to take a disco nap before dinner out tonight…..
I’m also excited as Mother’s Day is just around the corner. I know for many this is a day that can be challenging for many different reasons. I lost my own mother five years ago now to cancer, and whilst it can be hard when I can’t give her a call or visit on this special day for mums, I always make sure I reflect on my memories of her.
