As you’re reading this, I’ll be settling into a long wintery weekend in Melbourne as our son Jed is playing in the The National Junior Classic, a basketball competition held annually & we’ve all come to cheer him & his team on. Others I know are chasing the sun and heading to the opposite hemisphere or at least further north if in Australia, to attain those eternal summer vibes.
Our other son, Kobie is doing just that and will be embarking on a European adventure with close friends during university holidays, a major life moment! This will be his first time away from home for such a long stint and, needless to say I’ll be very teary seeing him off at the airport.
