I have to say I’ve never been drawn to the allure of a cruise. I know many folk out there adore being whisked away to sea with a bunch of strangers, partaking in activities that look like something out of an 80s movie, drink without having the worry of driving from A to B, and generally lounging about! BUT, here comes the but- since I read that Gwyneth our wellness superhero has teamed up with Celebrity Cruises to launch GOOP At Sea, I have to say I’m intrigued!
Apparently, guests will mingle with the one and only Paltrow, and work with Goop’s very best healers for an amazing head to toe transformation of wellness. Kale chips ahoy!! (I’ve seen this gag on several blogs LOL). I know the new year has us all thinking about things we could improve on both body & soul, but I’m not sure even the carrot of Gwyn would get my sea-legs ship shape! I’ll do some further investigation on the specifics, but I envisage a weekend away with girlfriends cruisin’ some fashion stores & restaurants will be just as good for my wellbeing & wallet!!
