Easter Vacation or Staycation? We Have Looks for Both!!

With April nearly upon it means that Easter break is almost here!! For those lucky enough it means four beautiful work-free days living the life that we should!! Come Friday morning there’s no need to wake up in a sweaty panic about what you have to get thru to finish the week on a good note; because you're already there!! You don’t have to do a damn thing if you don't want!

As previously mentioned Easter for myself always means Bluesfest in Byron Bay. Kids packed off to the parents place and away my partner & I go for at least three days of music fun hopefully in the glowing Byron Shire sun.

Many friends for Easter this year are doing the staycation thing. 2017 has shot off at such a ruthless pace that they are reeling that in a few months it’s June and they haven’t had time to smell a rose of any sort (me included)!!! The expectations & demands that are placed on us these days in my opinion are just damn unrealistic. Kids alone and the absurd amount of activities from school to sport to music to socialising take up 80% of the week, then ram in your full time work, running a house and somehow having a life YIKES, no wonder mindfulness classes have been added to the primary school syllabus. We need to try and get on top of a population in the midst of an anxiety epidemic!!
